What to expect during your QTscan
A QTscan is $600 and can be paid by credit card at the time of your appointment or online when you schedule. If you choose to pre-pay for your scan prior to your appointment, you can save $50 off the cost of the scan.
QTbreasthealth does not currently accept insurance. We can provide a receipt to request reimbursement from a FSA or HSA.
As a follow-up to mammography, many women will come to us for follow up imaging if their results from traditional imaging were inconclusive. We provide that imaging with no radiation and our doctors provide reassurance with timely results.
Your appointment at QTbreasthealth will take about an hour from arrival to departure. This includes your check-in, scan time, and changing your clothes in between.
A breast imaging experience so peaceful, you might sleep through it
Meet the QTbreasthealth Marin Team

Laurie Bren is a pivotal part of the patient experience, as she is often the first face our patients see when they enter our facility. As part of her role as Patient Care Concierge, Laurie also schedules and calls patients to confirm their appointments. For patients who have received breast screening in the past, she works to secure those records in advance so that the patient’s medical history is complete before arrival. Laurie has an extensive background in health care, holding various positions throughout her career that involve scheduling, patient coordination and medical records.
As a Care Specialist at QTbreasthealth, Lauren Morimoto is the first person who speaks to patients calling in to learn about our advanced breast imaging offerings. Her warm disposition and ability to empathize with patients makes her the perfect person for her role. Lauren frequently answers questions about the QTscan and any associated questions about the technology or facilities. In addition, she has a keen attention to detail, which patients often recognize after speaking to her. Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, and received a certificate from Human Needs and Global Resources (HNGR) for her commitment to coursework and service related to the challenges facing residents of impoverished nations.
